Welcome .
So - a new blog a new day .
I moved to this new format mainly because of space , time and convenience . Blogger was running out of room and I was trying to figure out a way to host my own blog in a quick and clean way . While messing around with the server I use - I found I could easily start one up in coalition with my website - and so here we are .
I have deleted the old posts on blogger and unfortunately could not bring all the nice things that people had to say along with me .However I have been quite easily able to bring all the links to peoples blogs and websites . All the links are at the bottom if you scroll down and I highly recommend visiting each and every one .
Through blogger I have been introduced to so many new artists and so much inspirational artwork .I have also made quite a few new friends . Joining the online community really has been an inspiration to keep painting and drawing and hopefully going forward . Seeing what other artists do and how creative people can be pushes others to go and do something new for themselves . There is nothing like seeing some artwork you really like and then feeling compelled to go and paint for yourself - if only because it's fun .
If it's not fun why do it ?
This painting is a concept from my graphic novel .I hope to really concentrate on it and the children's book this year . It will mainly be an evening and weekend endeavor as the day job at Sony is quite a commitment in itself . I have to add that I have met so many new people there also . The talent in the vis dev department is astounding to say the least . The work I have seen on the walls down there would pop the back of your head open and I love the fact that you only have to look around you to be inspired .
Anyway - I intend to post again soon and on a more regular basis . I look forward to seeing what everyone else is up to and also to meeting any visitors that stop by . Until then - enjoy life to the fullest .
Cheers .

WOW!...a nifty new blog and a cool new image. I am in love with your skies and those unique tree like structures you create...they are so cool. It makes me want to go to these worlds you are creating and climb up among the roots and get in all of the little cracks and crevices.
Hey thanks also for the super nice comment on Lines and Colors.
And yes....MORE POSTS!

Glad you stopped by - hopefully I'll be posting more frequently than I have been over the last while .

Simon....this is awesome buddy. Very nice work my friend. I love the cloudy sky opening up and the row of rocks that pulls you back into the composition. Really nice. You better keep working on that graphic novel, and the childrens book, or I am going to beat you up with a Guiness beer. I like the new blog. Good job buddy. And congratulations on the new job!!! Proud of you and all your hard work. Keep up the good work!!

Very, very cool work as always..! I'd been looking out for this blog eversince you mentioned it. I can't help but be totally jazzed to see how far you've come from the days when you were in the cubical next to me a few years ago, churning out new paintings, and me grinding my teeth in envy over it. :D
Now I'm finally starting my walk on the path, and believe me when I say you have been one of the biggest inspirations for me.. ROCK ON DOOD!!!

Hey everyone - cheers for the kind words .
I'm trying to gain more momentum on these personal projects so I can actually get them finished before I turn 85 ( and printed by the time I turn 90 ).
Seriously though - I really want to get this and the other project finished. It's going to take a while but I really want to see something in print sooner rather than later .
Like I said - weekends and nights .
I need a day job for the cash ( Who came up with this idea of working for money anyway ? Why can't it grow on trees ?).
